Splash Lane Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Splash Lane ("the game") is made by Launch Box LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses and why.

Information stored on your device

The game keeps your best score, your chosen diver name, your settings (sound and vibration) and a record of your recent games on your own device. This is used to run the game, for example to show your best score and to adjust which sea creatures appear. Deleting the game deletes it.

Advertising

The game is free and supported by ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, Google may collect information from your device, including your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when the game asks), your IP address and approximate location, the device type and operating system, and how you interact with ads.

On iPhone, the game asks your permission before allowing tracking across apps. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised using your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game will ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown.

Google's use of this information is described in Google's Privacy Policy and at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Online leaderboard and game statistics

Your diver name is made from words chosen from fixed lists inside the game, not typed by you, so it never contains personal information.

When you finish a game, the game sends us: a random ID created for this copy of the game (it is not linked to your Apple ID, your name, your device's advertising identifier or anything else about you), your diver name, your score, the number of moves, how long the game lasted and how far it progressed. If you change your diver name, the new name is sent too.

Your diver name, your best score and its date are shown to other players on the leaderboard. The rest (moves, play time and progress) is never shown to anyone: we use it only to understand how the game is played and to balance its difficulty. Some names on the leaderboard belong to computer-made "house divers" that keep the board lively, not to real players.

This information is stored on Cloudflare's servers. If you would like the scores sent from your copy of the game removed, email us at the address below with the diver name you used.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
